Critiques
Another point of criticism might be the framing. The effect you were going for doesn't seem to be finished. It's still a bit too voluntary if you will. I think it would have been nice to get just a little closer to the boat for that 'In your face' kind of impact. This may also have created some depth of field, which might have been interesting with the rock on the background getting a little more blurred.
The first thing I noticed were the beautiful colors. They looks really amazing. I don't mind the over exposure as it does really bring out the colors. The sky looks also very powerful!
I have seen a ton of shots that are similar to this one. With the boat and stuff. But this one does stand out because of its colors. Many others are B&W.
You have a very nice angle. You managed to capture the boat and also the mountain behind it perfectly.
I personally love this shot. I'd love to have a large size version of it hanging in our living room.
